Be A Part of the Sophie Bowl - 2023!

Welcome to the Sophie Bowl!  The Sophie Bowl is a 5 vs. 5, co-ed flag football  tournament.  Hosted by In Your Shoes - The Sophia Capo Memorial Foundation, the Sophie Bowl is a multi-level elimination tournament played to raise congenital heart defect awareness and funds to support local families that have a child currently receiving treatment for a congenital heart defect.  

All registrants must be 16 years of age or older and each team must have at least one member that is over 18.  To form a team you must first designate a team captain and your captain must register first.  After your team is registered by your captain, all players can then register under your team name as set by the captain. This year we are hoping to have divisions:  Competitive and Casual - depending on the amount of teams that register. Team Captains, you must select a division at the time of registration.  In the spirit of fair play, the tournament directors reserve the right to move a team to the Competitive division if an unfair advantage is observed.   Players without a team can register as free agents and will be assigned a team the day of the event.  Free agents must also select which division they would like to compete in.  The cost for each participant is $40, payable at registration.  Team captains have the option to pay the entire team fee or each individual player can pay their own.  If a team captain registers a player, that player must logon and pay the fee within 72 hours or the registration will be voided.  The $40 participation fee is non-refundable and the tournament will be played despite inclement weather.  

In the event that you receive a sponsorship from a local business, establishment, or employer please let us know as soon as possible.  Corporate sponsorship is $350 per team.

Check in/Registration opens at 9am with games beginning promptly at 10am.

The Sophie Bowl is a family-friendly event.  Good sportsmanship is expected. Thank you for playing in The Sophie Bowl 2023 and for supporting our mission to raise CHD Awareness in memory of our daughter Sophie.

All players must register and pay by June 30th to be guaranteed a Sophie Bowl 2023 t-shirt.

Registrations will also be accepted the day of the event.
